FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

QUESTION: How do I do this? How do I look into booking a party?
ANSWER: Use the booking form on our Check Dates/Book Now page and choose your date time. You’ll see the slots that are available. We’ll confirm your party with you, and you’re good to go!

QUESTION: How do I know the game truck can come to my house? Is my location suitable for other parties?
ANSWER:
Game Truck: Our drivers are excellent and can go nearly anywhere. As long as your driveway or street isn’t a very sharp hill, we can come. Otherwise, you can divert us to a nearby park, church or parking lot! Our game truck requires approximately 55″ of space (for truck and trailer) so be sure to let your neighbors know (and keep an area clear for us.)
Laser Tag: Laser Tag can be played indoors or outside. Please be sure to check for tripping hazards or other obstacles when you are planning your party.
Foam Parties: Foam parties are best suited for relatively flat outdoor areas. We will need a water source and electrical source (to power our foam cannon) within 100 feet of your planned party area.
Inflatables: Our inflatable soccer dart target needs a relatively flat area approximately 20′ x 20′. Our obstacle course inflatable requires a relatively flat area approximately 70′ x 20′. We will need an electrical outlet within 100′ of the inflatable. (For remote locations, a small generator can be used to power our inflation fan.)

QUESTION: Will the kids know what to do?
ANSWER: That’s why we bring our Game Coach! He/She helps the kids along, inspires and instructs. We make sure it’s the party of the year!

QUESTION: Should I be concerned about the types of video games for kids?
ANSWER: If you have such concerns, inform the Game Coach upon arrival and he/she will make sure that the gaming is appropriate. Otherwise, he/she will follow the lead of the guest(s) of honor and make sure they are having the time of their lives!  Our Game Coach will check with the adults in charge before making game selections available to younger players.

QUESTION: Is Laser Tag safe for kids?
ANSWER: Our laser taggers use an infrared beam, not an actual laser. The infrared beam is similar to those used in TV remote controls. It is harmless and invisible and won’t damage eyes. Laser Tag involves running around, so players should wear shoes suitable for such.

QUESTION: Is the Foam at your Foam Parties safe for kids?
ANSWER: We use only the highest quality solution for our foam. It’s bio-degradable, non-staining, non-toxic, and hypoallergenic! It’s also safe for babies, pets, the environment including lawns and gardens. Our foam is made up of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Glycerol & Water. These are also the main ingredient used in things like shampoo, dish soap, and even toothpaste but without the additional chemicals and perfumes. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), a cleaning agent and surfactant, is an ingredient in many personal care and cleaning products. SLS is derived from natural sources like coconut and palm kernel oil. If your child (or any participant) knowingly has an allergy or sensitivity to these products, we discourage participating. We provide goggles for participants, if desired, to keep foam out of the eyes (especially the little ones!)

QUESTION: What about bad weather?
ANSWER:
Game Truck: We come rain, shine, chilly or hot — we are climate controlled! As long as it is safe for us to drive, we’ll be there! (Note: in extremely wet or windy weather, our outside video game screens may not be available. We have an awning over those play areas, but the Game Coach will make the call dependent on conditions.)
Laser Tag: Our taggers are great for use indoors or out. In very wet conditions, we will advise you if conditions are unfavorable for laser tag. You can choose to move the party indoors or reschedule your party to another day.
Foam Parties: Foam parties are best on a warm day, but we can operate in light precipitation. If the weather looks unfavorable for your foam party in advance, we may contact you to reschedule.
Inflatables: Our inflatables are securely fastened to the ground, but if winds speeds are such that it creates a danger, we may not be able to accomodate the inflatable portion of your party, or you may reschedule your event.

QUESTION: What time should I make the party?
ANSWER: If you plan to eat prior to our arrival, we recommend setting your start time 30 minutes to one hour prior to arrival. Your guests will be thrilled to see our video game truck arrive!

QUESTION: What if too many people show up to the party? Is there an extra charge?
ANSWER:
Game Truck: We don’t charge for extra guests, but remember that our game truck can seat up to 22 inside, with the ability to allow 28 players to play at one time (utilizing the two outdoor gaming stations.) Unless your event is a “large event” like a school or church function or festival, we recommend no more than 28 guests. For large events, we rotate players through the game truck in timed intervals.
Laser Tag: Our laser tag parties include equipment for up to 20 players at one time. For larger events, we rotate players in timed intervals.
Foam Parties: There is no limit to the number of participants, but be sure your party area is large and clear enough for your guests.

QUESTION: Do I request certain video games?
ANSWER: We always bring the full game library to every event and your Game Coach will listen to and make suggestions to make your event successful. Feel free to contact us if you have a question about a specific game. The ESRB publishes ratings and information on all currently available video games.

QUESTION: Do I tip the Game Coach?
ANSWER: The Game Coach is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our high-tech fun. He/she tutors, inspires and entertains. Tipping for service is a great idea, but not required.

QUESTION: Do I have to pay for the party in advance?
ANSWER: Our reservations go quickly. In order to hold your booking, you must pay on line or arrange to drop your payment with us. Otherwise, your date and time is still open for booking by others. Please call to discuss if your organization or situation is an exception and we can talk about options.

QUESTION: What time will you be arriving?
ANSWER: The Game Coach arrives in plenty of time to be setup and start your party at the designated start time. Normally we will arrive 10-20 minutes prior to the time you specify. For events with multiple offerings (combo packages) we will arrive earlier to ensure our equipment is ready to go.

QUESTION: Where can I view your official policies?
